Why were the evil Ministry of Magic police guys in the 1st Deathly Hollows film dressed like Nazi soldiers?
Seriously, they even had red armbands for gods sake.
Were the costume designers worried we wouldn’t pick up on the fact that these guys are evil? Were they afraid the part where they explicitly shown violently rounding up muggle-related people and hauling them off to god knows where was too subtle, or that we wouldn’t notice that they only showed up after the guy who had been shown working for Voldemort minutes earlier became the Minister?
